Alabama Baseball Summer League Update: June 20

The Crimson Tide’s 12 players are split across nine different summer leagues
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Twelve members of the 2017-18 Alabama baseball roster are taking part in collegiate summer leagues spread throughout the country. Below is an update of how some of the Crimson Tide's players are doing so far.Â
Joe Breaux | OF | Keene Swamp Bats (New England)
Joe Breaux has provided consistent production to the Swamp Bats lineup, registering a team-high tying 14 hits and eight runs. Breaux has added two home runs and seven RBI while swiping five bases to rank second for Keene.
Deacon Medders | RHP | Cotuit Kettleers (Cape Cod)
Through three appearances, Deacon Medders (1-0) has been impressive for the Kettleers. Medders has tossed 10.0 innings, allowing only one unearned run on four hits while collecting seven strikeouts. The right-hander has also notched two saves to lead Cotuit.
Sam Praytor | C | Amsterdam Mohawks (Perfect Game)
Catcher Sam Praytor has excelled for the Mohawks so far, batting .353 (12-34) during the summer campaign. Praytor leads the team in walks (10), is tied for the team-high mark in RBI with six and sits at second in doubles with four. His efforts have helped the Mohawks get off to a 7-6 start to place them one game behind first place in the eastern division.
Connor Stutts | OF | Brookhaven Bucks (Sunbelt)
Connor Stutts has had a solid summer so far, batting .316 (6-19), with a team-high tying six hits. Stutts leads the Bucks in both home runs (2) and RBI (6) while tying for the team lead in runs scored with six.
John Trousdale | INF | Willmar Stingers (Northwoods League)
John Trousdale has been a force for the Stingers, pacing the ballclub with 21 hits. Trousdale leads his summer squad in runs (12) and doubles (7), while ranking second in walks with 10 thus far. The rising junior has also tallied seven RBI and five stolen bases to add to his totals.
