In the morning match, Proskura cruised past N.C. State's Nick Horton, 6-4, 6-0. O'Shaughnessey then hit the court early in the afternoon and picked up a 6-0, 7-5, victory against Baylor's Diego Galeano. Proskura is slated to take on Texas A&M's Junior Ore, while O'Shaughnessey will face East Tennessee State's Rogerio Ribeiro.
