
Alabama Advances to Qualifying Round of 16 at ITA All-American Championships

The Crimson Tide duo recorded a three-set victory to advance over their opponents from Louisville
TULSA, Okla. – The Alabama doubles team of Matic Kriznik and Vit Kalina advanced to the Qualifying Round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships with a three-set victory on Monday.
After dropping the first set, 6-3, to Hamza El Amine and Walid Ahouda from Louisville, the UA duo took a commanding 6-1 victory in the second set. Momentum would continue as Kriznik and Kalina dropped just four points in the 10-point tiebreaker to advance to the round of 16.
The duo earned a spot in the qualifying draw after a team had to drop out. They will face South Carolina's Sean Daryabeigi and Lucas Andrade da Silva on Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT.
