Baseball Closes Exhibition Slate at Clemson

The Crimson Tide saw a variety of players gain valuable repetitions against the Tigers
CLEMSON, S.C. – Alabama baseball closed its fall exhibition schedule with an 8-3 defeat in a 12-inning contest at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Saturday. Below is a recap of numerous standout performances by the Crimson Tide.
The Returners
- Bryce Fowler closed his day 1-for-1 with an RBI single, adding three hit-by-pitches
- Connor Lehman and Austin Morris each produced scoreless outings in their respective one-inning appearances
- JoJo Williamson collected a base-hit as part of his 1-for-2 afternoon
- Luke Vaughn saw extensive action on Saturday, posting a 1-for-4 line with one walk
The Newcomers
- Logen Devenport was one of two Tide players with multiple hits, finishing 2-for-3 with a double and a walk
- Eric Hines slugged a solo home run to left field with an exit velocity of 111 mph in his lone plate appearance
- John Lemm was a perfect 2-for-2 with a double, scoring a run
- Will Rhine was responsible for a bunt single as part of his 1-for-4 day
- Luke Smyers didn't allow a run in his 1.0 inning of work, notching two strikeouts
- Joe Chiarodo recorded one strikeout in 1.0 shutout frame
