The Crimson Tide returns to Rhoads Stadium Sunday, Oct. 19 vs. Itawamba
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball continued its fall ball schedule Saturday at Rhoads Stadium, splitting a doubleheader against Mississippi State and Memphis.
The Crimson Tide is back in action on Sunday, Oct. 19, hosting Itawamba for a doubleheader at Rhoads Stadium starting at 1:30 p.m. CT.
FROM HEAD COACH PATRICK MURPHY
"It's not every day where you get to play two Division I teams back-to-back in the fall, so we appreciate both Mississippi State and Memphis for coming to town. It's a great opportunity for all the teams involved. The offense did a better job in the second game and started to come alive. They put the ball in play a lot and our fans got to see our speed and athleticism on display. The defense played pretty well for the most part and we got some innings for our entire pitching staff."
