NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Horizon for Alabama

The Crimson Tide will make the trek to Eugene to compete in the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships
EUGENE, Ore. – The Alabama track and field program is set to compete at the NCAA Championships, June 5-8, at Oregon's Hayward Field.
The men's team will compete Wednesday and Friday, while the women's competition will be held Thursday and Saturday. Preliminary action on the track for the men's and women's competitions will be Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
The Crimson Tide will open the meet Wednesday night (6:32 p.m. CT) in the men's 4x100-meter relays. The first podium event for Alabama will be the men's 10,000-meter run at 9:08 p.m.
Both Alabama programs will enter the national meet nationally ranked in the top 20, with the men sitting at No. 2 and the women at No. 16.
NCAA Championships
- The men's squad of Jekovan Rhetta, Tarsis Orogot, Khaleb McRae and Matthew Weaver will open the Championships on Wednesday in the 4x100-meter relay prelims at 6:32 p.m. CT, with the last event of the day featuring Chris Robinson, Samuel Ogazi, McRae and Weaver in the men's 4x400-meter relay prelims
- The men's program will compete in seven total events on the opening day of the NCAA Championships
- The women are traveling eight to Eugene, while the men's contingent is 15 strong
