Former Alabama state champion who is entering his fifth year in the Crimson Tide program, after redshirting in 2012-13 ... expected to provide leadership while also competing for a spot in the lineup.
2016-17 (SENIOR)
Named to the 2017 SEC Academic Honor Roll … Lone stroke play action of the year came at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate … finished the event tied for 46th overall with a 14-over par 224 (74-74-76) … also was in the lineup for the Cypress Point Classic match play event … played as an individual at the Linger Longer Invitational where he shot 228 (79-73-76) and finished tied for 69th.
2015-16 (JUNIOR)
Named to SEC Academic Honor Roll for a fifth straight year ... earned a spot on the SEC Community Service team … saw action in two tournament on the season … finished the year with a 78.17 stroke average … best finish came with a 50th-place result at the DICK’s Collegiate Challenge Cup … also placed 75th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters.
2014-15 (SOPHOMORE)
Named to SEC Academic Honor Roll ... competed in seven tournaments (21 rounds) which ranked third most on the team ... finished with a 75.86 stroke average, which ranked sixth on the team ... carded career-best 18-hole scores of 69 on two separate occasions during the season (first round of the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate and the first round of the SEC Championships) ... had a season-best finish when he tied for 26th overall at the Jerry Pate with a 7-over par 217 (69-73-75) ... carded a career-low tournament total of 4-over par 214 (69-70-75) at the SEC Championships where he tied for 36th overall ... finished in 40th position at the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate after carding a 12-over par 228 (79-76-73).
2013-14 (FRESHMAN)
Named to SEC Academic Honor Roll ... competed in two tournaments during his first year of competition at Alabama ... averaged 74.17 in six rounds played ... fired three rounds of 71, two coming at Vanderbilt’s Mason Rudolph Championship ... tied for 40th in his first collegiate event, the Linger Longer Invitational (Greensboro, Ga.), firing an 8-over par 224 ... finished 33rd with an 8-over par 221 at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
2012-13 (REDSHIRT SEASON)
Named to SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll ... redshirted during his first year at the Capstone.
PREP HIGHLIGHTS
Was a standout on the Spain Park High School golf team, leading the Jaguars to the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012 Alabama 6A State Championship titles ... named the Birmingham News Boys Metro Golfer of the Year ... averaged 73.9 strokes as a senior ... won the Alabama 6A state individual championship in 2009 ... shot a 64 in the first round of the Alabama State Junior Championship.
