Alabama Soccer Pups at the Pitch
Join the Crimson Tide at the Alabama Soccer Stadium on Sunday, September 14 for our "Pups at the Pitch" match! Bring your favorite four-legged friend to watch as the Tide hosts Lipscomb at 1 p.m. CT. Come early, enjoy the fun, and get free prizes and giveaways!
Pups at the Pitch is a free admission event, so no ticket is required to participate.
"Pups at the Pitch" Policies
Dogs will be permitted through the main gate of the stadium. Upon arrival, owners MUST present proof of vaccinations (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella) valid through October 13 and sign a waiver. Dogs will not be permitted inside Alabama Soccer Stadium without valid vaccination paperwork and a signed waiver. To expedite the check-in process, please print and sign the waiver in advance of the game. Gates close for dog entry at the start of halftime.
A maximum of one dog per person is permitted. Dogs MUST stay within the designated "Dog Zone" (specific area located in the stands by signage) at all times. Owners are permitted to bring a water bowl and snack for their dog. The clear bag policy remains in effect. Alabama Athletics reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog or require a dog to exit the stadium.
Additional Rules and Regulations
Bring your dog to "Pups at the Pitch" if he/she:
- Is at least six months old and in good health
- Is up to date on all required vaccinations
- Has a waiver signed by the human (Please print the waiver and have it ready at the check-in table to help the process)
- Does well on-leash and is not aggressive toward people or other dogs
- Is friendly toward humans and not excessively fearful
- Is on a leash and accompanied by a responsible adult
- Is an Alabama fan!
Participants are expected to practice responsible pet ownership. If your dog is an aggressive breed or has aggressive tendencies, do not bring him/her to this event. Do not bring your dog if it is unpredictable in crowds, with other dogs, and/or with strangers. Do not bring a female dog in heat. Older dogs, dogs with short muzzles and/or dogs that are quickly prone to heat exhaustion should consider not attending this event or consider not staying for the entirety of the game. Direct sun and heat can be a deadly combination for dogs. Please keep the comfort and safety of your dog in the forefront of your mind when planning this fun day at the soccer pitch.
