Jessica Timmons, Karly Weathers Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

The two student-athletes were recognized for their performances on the court and in the classroom
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A pair of Alabama women's basketball guards, Jessica Timmons and Karly Weathers, were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Basketball Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Timmons earned the honor for the first time in her career, while Weathers collected her third consecutive recognition.
Jessica Timmons Notes
- Currently holds a 3.5 GPA as she pursues a master's degree in public relations
- Started in all 35 of Alabama's contests, averaging 31.9 minutes a game
- Led the Crimson Tide in scoring with 16.3 points per game
- Surpassed 1,000 career points against Tennessee in the second round of the SEC Tournament (3/5)
- Posted a career-high 34 points against Florida (2/22)
- Recorded a career-high 12 rebounds against Troy (12/21)
- Led Alabama in scoring in 18-of-35 games
- Posted 27 double-digit scoring games and 12 games with 20 or more points
- One of two UA players to record over 1,000 minutes this season

- While pursuing a degree in nursing, the senior currently holds a 3.99 GPA

- Grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds versus Missouri in the first round of the SEC Tournament (3/4)

- Set a career high with seven steals against Kentucky (1/8)
- Led the team in rebounds (214), defensive rebounds (178) and rebounds per game (6.1)
- Joined teammate Timmons as only two UA players to record over 1,000 minutes this season
