Matic Kriznik to Compete at UTR Pro Summer Slam

Kriznik earned a spot in the UTR Pro Summer Slam Championships after winning the Tuscaloosa Summer Slam in May
He battled his way to victory, winning five matches at the Tuscaloosa UTR Tournament to claim his spot in the championships
The UA sophomore joined the Tide in the spring of 2025, and despite missing some time to compete in the Davis Cup for Slovenia, captured nine singles wins and seven doubles victories
Kriznik is one of 16 competitors competing for the UTR Pro Summer title, battling alongside Miles Jones, Aleksa Ciric (Georgia Gwinnett), Landon Ardila (Princeton), Derrick Chen (Georgia), JanMagnus Johnson (Florida), Santiago Giamichelle (Georgia), Joaquin Benoit (North Georgia), Calvin Baierl (Baylor), Carter Pate (Northwestern), Tanapatt Nirundorn (Florida), Felipe Pinzon (Cornell), Azariah Rusher (Florida State), Colson Wells (Nebraska), Agustin Mastri (Catawba) and Elias Shokry (Georgia Tech)
