From Head Coach Wes Hart
“Disappointed that we couldn't send the senior class out on a W tonight. This has been an awesome senior class. Each of them has impacted [this program] in different ways, both on and off the field. They've just been tremendous teammates and awesome people to coach and be around.
“I don't fault the effort tonight. We were in the game all the way to the end. I loved the fight that we showed. We kept pressing to get that goal, and unfortunately, just ran out of time. I think if we go into Tennessee with that same mentality, that same attitude, we give ourselves a chance. It's going to be a good game. They've got a very good team, one of the top teams in the country, but I like our team’s chance.”
