Alabama Track and Field Set to Open 2024 Outdoor Season at the Bulldog Relays

The Crimson Tide open the 2024 outdoor campaign in Starkville, competing in the three-day meet
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's and women's track and field teams will make the trip to Starkville to compete in the three-day Bulldog Relays at the Mike Sanders Track and Field Complex. The Crimson Tide will send 46 student-athletes to compete in 16 different events.
Alabama opens the three-day event Thursday with Tommy Danner in the men's hammer throw leading things off at 3:20 p.m. CT.
Friday afternoon, Amani Heaven opens the day for UA in the women's discus throw at Noon.
Makenna Uranga will get the action started on the final day of the meet in the women's javelin throw Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT.

- Time: Thursday, first field event starts at 3:20 p.m. CT in the men's hammer throw
- Friday, first field event starts at Noon in the women's discus throw with the first track event set to begin at 3:30 p.m. in the women's 3000-meter
- Saturday, first field event will begin at 11 a.m. in the women's javelin throw, with the first track event starting at Noon in the women's 4x100-meter relay
