Alabama Men Second, Women Seventh in SEC Cross Country Coaches Preseason Poll

The Crimson Tide 2019 cross country season beings Saturday, Aug. 31
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The University of Alabama men's cross country team were picked to finish second, while the women were chosen to finish seventh in the 2019 Southeastern Conference Cross Country Coaches Preseason Poll, the league office announced Monday.
The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason regional rankings were also released Monday, and the Crimson Tide checked in at third on the men's side and tenth on the women's side of the South Region.
The 2019 cross country season beings Saturday, Aug. 31, as Alabama travels to Memphis, Tenn. to compete at the Brooks Memphis Twilight Classic.
