Crimson Tide Student-Athletes Set for Summer Commencement Ceremonies

The Crimson Tide’s summer graduates include an NCAA Champion and six All-Americans
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –  A total of 16 Crimson Tide student-athletes are slated to receive degrees during The University of Alabama's summer commencement this weekend, including an NCAA champion and six All-Americans.
Three members of the 2018 Southeastern Conference Champion football squad – Giles Amos, Mike Bernier and Shyheim Carter – are set to earn degrees in August. With Amos and Carter returning this year, six members of the 2019 Crimson Tide football squad will start the season with degrees in hand.
Also set to graduate this weekend is All-American linebacker Barry Krauss, one of the heroes of the Crimson Tide's legendary "Goal Line Stand" against Penn State in the Sugar Bowl, which clinched Alabama's 1978 National Championship season.
Shelby McEwen, the 2019 NCAA indoor high jump champion, will head into his final Alabama season with his degree. In addition to McEwen, track & field All-Americans Skyler Bowden and Gilbert Kigen along with All-American swimmer Justine Macfarlane and golfer Cheyenne Knight are slated to graduate this weekend.
Women's basketball guard Jordan Lewis heads into the 2019-20 season with her degree already in hand, while former UA guard Meoshonti Knight and baseball's Jeremy Randolph are set to receive master's degrees during the weekend. Others earning their bachelor's degree this summer include Joe Breaux (baseball), Courtney Gettins (softball), Josh Sedeno (men's golf) and Krystal Sparling (women's track and field).
