Alabama Men Hold Steady at No. 1 in the Latest USTFCCCA South Region Rankings

Crimson Tide women ranked No. 10 in this week’s regional poll
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's cross country team remains No. 1 the while the Crimson Tide women are No. 10 in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Region rankings released Monday by the USTFCCCA.
Alabama is joined by Ole Miss (3), Tennessee (5), Florida (6) and Georgia (10) as one of five Southeastern Conference schools in this week's men's regional top 15.
The Crimson Tide women are No. 10 in their regional poll this week. SEC rivals Georgia (1), Mississippi State (4), Tennessee (5), Ole Miss (6), Vanderbilt (7), Auburn (11) and Florida (12) join the Tide in this week's rankings.
The Crimson Tide men and women are off until they travel to Madison, Wis., for the Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday, Sept. 28. The meet will be one of the deepest of the regular season with 18 men's and 16 women's teams currently ranked in the top 30 scheduled to participate.
