Women's Golf Second Heading Into SEC/Pac-10 Challenge Final Round

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The No. 1 Alabama women's golf team is tied for second place heading into the final round of the inaugural SEC/Pac-10 Challenge. The Crimson Tide moved four spots up the leaderboard following the first day's action with a 286 (+2), trailing first-place UCLA by nine shots.
Alabama junior Brooke Pancake fired a bogey-free round of 2-under par 69 and is currently tied for ninth place individually. Her round of 69 was the third-lowest round of the day overall. Senior Courtney Harter and freshman Stephanie Meadow both carded 1-over par 72's, while sophomore Jennifer Kirby shot a 2-over par 73. Meadow stands in a tie for 14th place while Kirby is three spots back in 17th place. Senior Camilla Lennarth shot an 8-over par 79 to round out the scoring for the Tide.
