2009 Student Football Ticket Information

New Student Mini Package
University of Alabama Football 2009 new student ticket packages will be available for purchase beginning Monday June 1 at 8am. The student ticket order form will be available online only for incoming students. There is a limit of one student ticket package per student which is subject to availability.
New students will choose one package from the options below:

Please note: All new students can order their ticket package beginning June 1. You do not have to wait until you attend summer orientation to place your order. Because of the high demand for tickets this season, we encourage you to place your order as soon as possible. Any unsold packages will go on sale to all students on August 1st.

What's new this year?
• Student upgrades affect post season purchasing opportunities. After a student upgrades (change a regular student ticket to a student guest ticket) more than 3 tickets, or half the home season, then that student is ineligible to purchase postseason tickets (SEC Championship and bowl game).

• Student tickets that go unused affect post season and season tickets for 2010 purchasing opportunities. Once a student has 3 "resets" (unused, non-donated, non-transferred), they immediately become ineligible for postseason tickets for that year, and are also ineligible to purchase tickets for the following year.

• Students who gain free access to home games will have their tickets refunded prior to the season. Students who fall into this category include, but are not limited to members of the Million Dollar Band, Cheerleaders, SGA block seating, NCAA athletes, and Capstone Men and Women. Once the rosters for these organizations are finalized, students who are members of these organizations will receive refunds for the tickets they have purchased. These tickets will become part of the tickets that will go on sale to all students on August 1.

Reminder:
•In order to save time when ordering 2009 student football tickets, it is best you pre-register on rolltide.com during the week of May 25. If you don't pre-register, you will be required to register before purchasing tickets on the morning of June 1.

•Students who have purchased tickets will swipe their Action Card at the student gates to gain entrance into Bryant Denny for home games. Once you receive confirmation that your online order has been completed and accepted, the system will automatically transfer the appropriate access to your Action Card prior to each game. Students will no longer pick up season tickets in August.

• You can still sell/give your tickets to other students. You can sell/give your student ticket to another student by going online to "My Football Ticket" and transferring access to that game to the other student's Action Card.

• You can still convert a student ticket to a student guest ticket. If you want to purchase a student guest ticket, you and the student who is selling/giving the ticket must go to the Ticket Office during the week of the game. Access to the game will be removed from that student's Action Card and you will receive a paper ticket for your student guest.

• The deadline to convert student-guest tickets is 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday before each respective home game.

Who can buy student tickets beginning June 1?
• Incoming students, including freshmen, transfer and graduate students will be able to order tickets beginning June 1st online.
• For Fall 2009, you will only be able to use these tickets if you meet the student eligibility requirements as described at http://studentreceivables.ua.edu/Student_Eligibility_Athletic_Events.html. In the event you are not eligible in Fall 2009, refunds for purchased tickets will be issued upon request. Refund requests must be made in writing to the Ticket Office by November 16th. For additional information, call the Ticket Office at 348-BAMA or 1-877-TIDETIX.

How do you buy tickets to away games?
• Road game tickets are offered to upper classman during the Spring sale only.Road game tickets are not guaranteed.  The student allotment is 12% of the total University allotment for each road game.  Should orders exceed the student allotment, ticket availability will be based on the number of UA earned credit hours (highest to lowest).  Seats held for the band are included in the road game student allotment. This is the case for home games as well.

Remember:
• Your order is NOT complete until you have paid and received a confirmation page. If you are not sure your order has been completed, please call the ticket office for verification at (205) 348-2262.

• You must be eligible at the time of the athletic event to attend the event. Visit www.studentreceivables.ua.edu for eligibility criteria for Athletic Events.

• Student tickets that remain unsold at the end of freshmen orientation will be available for purchase at the beginning of Fall semester.

Important Dates and Deadlines
June 1, 8 a.m. - BEGIN ticket sales for incoming graduate, transfer and freshmen students
July 31 - New student sale ends.
Nov. 16- Refund requests due (written requests only)
