Seating Change FAQs for 2015-16

Why are these changes being made?

  • To create a better game atmosphere
  • To get the students more involved to create a better home court advantage

What sections will be affected?

  • Section R (Rebounder) / Section R (Passer)
  • Section S (Faculty/Staff)
  • Section D (Rows 25-32)
  • Section J, K, & X (Rows 13 & 24)
  • Section J & K (Rows 25-30)

What are my seating options?

  • Rebounder/Passer (Section R) will have comparable options in Section W or we can offer additional options after the renewal deadline in other Tide Pride areas
  • Section J, K, & X will have an option of keeping their same seats and paying the increased contribution
  • Faculty/Staff (Section S) will have seating options in the top half of Section W & X
  • Section D will have comparable options in Section Q due to the moving of the camera location or will be offered other Tide Pride areas that become available

How do I submit my Tide Pride payment?

  • You will receive a letter/renewal in the next 1-2 weeks with your options. Please complete and mail back to our office for processing.
  • You will also receive an email with the ability to submit your payment/request online in the next 1-2 weeks

When will I know my seat locations for this season?

  • Seat locations will be offered and finalized in mid to late September after our season ticket renewal deadline

Will there be further changes next season?

  • No decisions have been finalized for next season but there is a possibility that we will have further changes in the coming seasons

Ticket Transfer/Donation

Ticket Transfer

Season Ticket Holders may transfer their tickets to another customer by logging into their account and selecting the specific events to transfer under the My Account page.

Learn more about Ticket Transfer. There is a $5.00 fee for ticket transfers. You may transfer your tickets up until 4 hours prior to any event.

Ticket Donation

Can't attend a basketball game? You can electronically donate your season tickets back to Alabama Athletics. These tickets will then be donated to those fans who don't normally receive an opportunity to attend an Alabama Athletics event.

Ticket Policies

  • Ticket Policies
    • All sales placed via phone, window or online are final at time of processing. There will be no exceptions.
    • For all ticketed athletics events by the University of Alabama, every attendee must have a ticket, regardless of age.
    • The University of Alabama is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets. This includes tickets that are left at home on game day. Original ticket holders must submit a formal written request via mail or email, to request a reprint, however it is not guaranteed a reprint will be completed, as it is per the approval of the athletics ticket office.
    • All address changes for ticket shipments, ticket mailings, application mailings and any additional correspondences must be submitted via formal written request via mail or email. The written request must come from the original ticket holder, in order to maintain accurate and secure records.
    • The University of Alabama reserves the right to change the date, opponent and start time of any event. These changes will not entitle the ticket holder to a refund. All changes will be communicated through local media and
  • Game Day Ticket Sales
    • Ticket Sales will begin three (3) hours prior to the game, and will be located inside the main lobby of Coleman Coliseum.
    • The Alabama Athletics Ticket Office accepts cash, check, and all major credit cards as payment methods.
  • Will Call Information
    • Will Call will be open three (3) hours prior to the game, and will be located inside the main lobby of Coleman Coliseum.
    • Please have a valid photo ID in order to retrieve your tickets.
  • Player Guests/H.S. Coaches/Recruits Ticket Information
    • Player guests, High School coaches, and Recruits may pick their tickets beginning one and a half (1.5) hours prior to the meet inside the C.M. Newton room, located on the left side of the main lobby of Coleman Coliseum.
    • Please have a valid photo ID in order to retrieve your tickets.
  • Student Tickets
    • Students may enter through the West entrance of Coleman Coliseum beginning one and a half (1.5) hours prior to the meet.
    • Each student must have a valid Action Card in order to be eligible to receive free admission.
    • All students receive free admission.
    • Student seating is located in the Sections S, T, U, V, W, X, FL-J, FL-K, & FL-W of Coleman Coliseum.
  • Accessible Seating
    • Patrons who require accessible seating needs may exchange their seats at the Customer Service office, located on the right side of the North entrance, located directly across from Section A.
    • Accessible seating exchange inventory varies from meet to meet, due to season ticket and single meet sales. Unfortunately, due to limited inventory, it is not guaranteed that the athletics ticket office will be able to locate your seating as close to your original ticket location as possible.
    • Patrons who would like to purchase accessible seating for any men's basketball game, may do so by calling (205) 348-2262.
    • In order to assist as many customers as possible, the athletics ticket office must limit the number of exchanged tickets to four (4), in order to maximize inventory.
    • Accessible seating is located in Sections B, C, E, F, I, L, & Y within Coleman Coliseum.
