Volleyball Anthem Buddies

TUSCALOOSA, Ala . - Fans can secure their share of the excitement in Foster Auditorium with season and individual tickets, which go on sale Tuesday, July 1.

Season tickets are $35, while groups of four or more able to purchase discounted packages for $25. Individual game tickets are $5 while groups of 15 or more can purchase individual tickets for $3.

The 2014 schedule includes 13 home matches, beginning with the Crimson Tide's home opener against UAB on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. CT. That weekend, Alabama will host the Crimson-White Tournament, playing matches against Florida International (Noon) and San Diego State (7 p.m.) on Friday, Sept. 19 and Clemson (7 p.m.) on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Alabama's home SEC matches include LSU (Sept. 28, 1 p.m.), South Carolina (Oct. 12, 3 p.m.), Ole Miss (Sept. 19, 1 p.m.), Arkansas (Oct. 26, 1 p.m.), Texas A&M (Oct. 31, 7 p.m.), Mississippi State (Nov. 12, 5 p.m.), Georgia (Nov. 16, 1 p.m.), Auburn (Nov. 21, 7 p.m.) and Tennessee (Nov. 29, TBA).

Free posters and schedule card giveaways will take place during the UAB match and the Crimson-White Tournament. The team will sign postgame autographs following the matches against LSU, South Carolina, Ole Miss and Arkansas. Additionally, the match against the Rebels will be the team's annual Power of Pink match. Youth day, with $3 admission for children 12 and younger, will be against LSU.

Youth teams can also sign up for the Volleyball Anthem Buddies program, which is a special opportunity for teams to join the Tide on the court during pre-match ceremonies. Teams that sign up for the program will also receive discounted admission. Teams with individuals ages 12 & under can sign up for the Anthem Buddies program HERE.

Last season, Alabama went 24-10, the most wins for the Crimson Tide in nearly two decades. The team also earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament, its first since 2007 and the first for Head Coach Ed Allen. For his outstanding season, Allen was named the 2013 AVCA South Region Coach of the Year while Krystal Rivers, Brittany Thomas and Sierra Wilson all earned AVCA All-South Region honors.
