After spending one season as a volunteer on the Alabama volleyball staff, Kevin Dunn has been hired as an assistant coach. Dunn will work primarily with the setters and assist with scouting and film breakdown.

Prior to arriving in Tuscaloosa a year ago, Dunn spent one season as a graduate assistant at Southern Arkansas University where he was responsible for practice planning, recruiting and offseason conditioning. Under his direction, the Lady Muleriders won 11 matches and had two All-Gulf South Conference Western Division Team selections.

Dunn began his coaching career as the junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Mo. While at Lindenwood, he planned and executed conditioning routines and teambuilding exercises. Dunn's 2007 Lions squad finished with a fifth place NAIA national ranking.

Dunn also enjoyed a solid playing career at Lindenwood helping to lead the Lions to national rankings from 2003-2007. In 2006, he guided Lindenwood to the NAIA National Championship Finals. Dunn was a four-time Academic All-Conference selection graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and business administration.
