Alabama Athletics Places 77 on SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll

The softball team's 15 honorees led the way for the Tide, followed by the 12 members of the rowing team and the 12 members of the women's track and field team. The Alabama baseball team placed 11 members on the honor roll; women's golf, men's tennis and men's track and field each landed six student-athletes on the honor roll, followed by the four members of the women's tennis team

Was the two-time 2A state cross country champion ... helped her team to the 2006 2A team title ... was a four-time state champion in the 3,200m and 1,600m and a three-time champion in the 800m ... also was a member of the basketball team that won back-to-back state titles and four-straight Cullman Country titles ... was an all-state and regional MVP on the hardwood as well ... was plagued by injury during her senior cross country season ... was a member of the National Honor Society and vice president of her class ... is the daughter of Lee and Ginger Myrex ... majoring in marine science and biology
