Alabama Student-Athletes Slated To Receive Degrees Saturday

A total of 15 graduates will suit up for Alabama in the BCS National Football Championship Game on Jan. 7 in Miami, including 11 who earned degrees this semester

All-Time Rank at Alabama:
• Indoor Pentathlon - 4th

• 60m Hurdles - 9.84

• High Jump - 4-6
• Long Jump - 16-3 3/4

Freshman (2008-09)
Finished 16th in the pentathlon (2,825) at the SEC Indoor Championships including an eighth place finish in the 800m (2:35.53) as part of the pentathlon competition...did not compete during the outdoor season.

Prep and Personal
Coached by Christi Simpson and Andy Ferrara...team went undefeated from 2005-08...holds the school record in the 4x100m, 4x200m and 4x400m relays and the triple jump...team produced a national time in the shuttle hurdle relay in 2006...named most athletic by her senior class...earned the Hart Pundt Award for track in 2008...also played varsity volleyball and was team captain for two years and played soccer on the USA International Championship team...Homecoming Queen in 2007, Prom Queen in 2008...member of the National Honors Society and was given the Leadership Award in 2008...Parents: Thomas and Victoria Myers...Siblings: Brian, Kent and Todd...Birthday: August 19, 1989...Majoring in Arts and Sciences...father Thomas played lacrosse at Syracuse and played for the New Orleans Saints for 11 years...sister Whitney played soccer at Texas Tech...brother Todd played soccer for the Air Force Academy.
