Women's Tennis set for Furman Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The women's tennis team heads to Greenville, S.C., this weekend for the 27th annual Furman Fall Classic, which will feature players from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, State, Furman, Iowa, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. The three-day tournament will feature both singles and doubles flighted draws.

The Crimson Tide will be represented by seven of its eight members, including Carmen Blanco, Mary Anne Daines, Maya Jansen, Natalia Maynetto, Erin Routliffe, Danielle Spielmann and Emily Zabor.

The tournament will start with doubles at 8 a.m. CT on Friday, followed by singles at Noon. Action continues on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 8 a.m. each day.
