TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The ninth-ranked women's tennis team will travel to Texas this weekend to take on the TCU Horned Frogs (2-0) and the SMU Mustangs (1-0) in the Crimson Tide first away matches of the 2013 season. The Crimson Tide will play TCU on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT while Sunday's match against SMU is slated for Noon p.m. CT.

Alabama is coming off a successful ITA Kick-Off Weekend, where it advanced to its first ITA National Team Indoor Championships in program history with wins against Memphis and No. 20 Clemson, 4-2. The Tide won the doubles point in both matches, with the deciding matchup coming on court two, which was won on both occasions in a tiebreaker by senior Antonia Foehse and freshman Maya Jansen.
