PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Alexa Guarachi battled back from a first-set loss to beat Texas Tech’s Samantha Adams, 6-7(2), 6-2, 7-6(3), in the qualifying singles back draw on Wednesday at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.

Macfarlane will face Stanford’s Krista Hardebeck, who played her way into the main draw from the qualifying draw, at 12:45 p.m. CT. In doubles, the Tide duo is scheduled to face Southern California’s Gabriella DeSimone and Zoe Scandalis, who also came out of the qualifying draw, at 11 a.m. CT.
