Erin Routliffe Wins Final Match at Duke Fab Four Invite

CARY, N.C. - The women's tennis team wrapped up its trip to the Duke Fab Four Invite on Sunday where freshman Erin Routliffe took third place in the top singles draw at her first collegiate tournament. She and fellow newcomer Danielle Spielmann also finished as runner-ups in their doubles draw, while junior Emily Zabor and freshman Carmen Blanco added a third-place finish in their draw.

In all, the Crimson Tide won 12 matches at the three-day tournament with eight coming in singles and four in doubles, and had four victories over nationally-ranked opponents.

Alabama will play its second event of the fall season Sept. 27-29, competing at the Furman Fall Classic.
