During the 2012-13 academic year, seven UA teams posted cumulative GPAs above 3.5 for the year, marking the third year in a row that at least five teams have met that standard, while overall, 14 teams earned GPAs over 3.0 for the season.
The 30 summer graduates will join the 104 Tide student-athletes who graduated following with the fall and spring semesters, pushing the athletics department's graduation tally at 134 for the 2012-13 academic year
The softball team's 15 honorees led the way for the Tide, followed by the 12 members of the rowing team and the 12 members of the women's track and field team. The Alabama baseball team placed 11 members on the honor roll; women's golf, men's tennis and men's track and field each landed six student-athletes on the honor roll, followed by the four members of the women's tennis team
Tennis player Antonia Foehse, gymnast Kim Jacob and golfer Stephanie Meadow earned a place on the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District IV Women's At-Large First Team
