Alabama to host two upcoming softball camps

TUSCALOOSA ?? The University of Alabama softball team will be hosting the Thanksgiving Holiday Hitting Clinic and the World Class Pitching Summit Part II in the upcoming weeks. 

The Thanksgiving Holiday Hitting Clinic will be held on Sunday, November 26 at the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility. The clinics will be directed by Crimson Tide softball coaches Patrick Murphy, Alyson Habetz and Vann Stuedeman. Grades 2-6 will go from 9 a.m.-Noon and grades 7-12 will be from 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Registration is available on www.rolltide.com at a cost of $60 or there is a walk-up cost of $75 for the day of the clinic.

The World Class Pitching Summit Part II will be held for high school pitchers. It will take place Saturday, December 2 at the indoor practice facility. The clinic will feature the Alabama coaching staff along with Britni Sneed, a three-time All-American at LSU and current pitching coach at Baylor University, and Christa Williams, a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist from the University of Texas and National Pro-Fastpitch League’s Texas Thunder. The clinic will start at 9 a.m.-Noon with Sneed teaching the curve ball. Williams will then teach the change up from 1:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m. Price of the clinic is $100 with the deadline set for November 29. The camp will be limited to the first 60 to sign up.
