Softball Set for Activities around the Football Weekend

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama softball team has a busy weekend ahead centered around the football game against Western Carolina. The team will sign in the Quad before the game and the Academic All-Americans from this past season will be recognized at halftime.

The reigning national champions will sign in the Quad from 9:15-10:15 a.m., Saturday morning. Mini schedule posters will be provided. Prizes and giveaways will also be raffled during the Quad signing.

Seniors Kayla Braud and Jackey Branham will be honored at halftime for earning Academic All-America accolades. Cassie Reilly-Boccia also earned the honor but will not be in attendance. Braud earned the prestigious honor for the second straight season while Branham will be recognized for her first career Academic All-America award.

Kickoff for the Western Carolina game is set for 11:21 a.m. The non-conference matchup will air on the SEC Network.
