TUSCALOOSA -- The third and final game of Alabama’s Fall Brawl at the Alabama Softball Complex this weekend in Tuscaloosa can be heard on New Rock 90.7 FM. The game will be played at 4:00 PM against Shelton State. The broadcast will begin with the Crimson Tide pre-game report at 3:45 PM.
WVUA-FM 90.7, the campus radio station at Alabama, will once again be the exclusive home to Alabama softball in 2005. The game this weekend as well as the entire regular season can be heard on the web at www.rolltide.com.
WVUA sports director, Chad Anderson, will be calling all the action this season, and he will be joined this weekend by staff member, J.J. Roper.
“I’m thrilled to have Alabama softball back on the air waves once again,” Anderson said. “The team always competes at a national level, and it’s exciting to have each and every game on the air for all of the fans.”
This will be the fourth consecutive season in which Alabama softball has been on the air waves. A complete broadcast schedule will be available in late January.
