Mississippi Valley State Post-Game Quotes

Saturday, May 20, 2006

MVSU head coach Lee Smith

“I thought that each team did a good job tonight of handling the situations they were handed. Throughout the game it went back and forth and I thought that both teams battled their way through. It was pretty much what I was expecting.”

On playing today after last night’s loss

“I thought we were well relaxed. We didn’t seem to be too tense. I thought we came out and played well and I knew from last night that we’d bounce back. We’ve faced these situations throughout the year where we’ve come off of tough losses and had to play the next day.”
