FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Due to inclement weather today in northwest Arkansas, all first round games of the SEC Softball Tournament have been pushed back. Game two of the tournament is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. CDT with the third game of the tournament being played approximately thirty minutes afterwards.
A decision will be made later in the night as to whether the fourth and final game of round one, between No. 1-seeded Alabama and eighth seeded Arkansas, will be played late tonight or early Thursday morning.
At this time the game is still slated to be broadcast nationally by ESPNU with Beth Mowins and Jessica Mendoza calling the action. Online features including GameTracker and the Live Game Blog will be available regardless of when the game is played.
