Softball Adds Game with Birmingham Southern on April 23

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The No. 2 Alabama softball team added a game to its schedule against Birmingham Southern on Wednesday, April 23, at the Alabama Softball Complex head coach Patrick Murphy announced Thursday. The Crimson Tide will face the Panthers at 4:15 p.m., prior to UA's scheduled game with Samford at 6:30 p.m. Alabama had two games cancelled on March 19 at the Chattanooga Showdown due to heavy rain. The Tide is 32-3 on the season and leading the SEC West with a 12-2 record. Alabama hosts No. 10 LSU this weekend at the Alabama Softball Complex with action getting underway on Saturday, April 5, with a 1 p.m. doubleheader. The series then concludes on Sunday, April 6, at 1:30 p.m.
