Softball Cancels Remaining Leadoff Classic Games
Feb. 28, 2009
COLUMBUS, Ga. - The No. 1 ranked Alabama softball team will not play the remainder of its Leadoff Classic games as inclement weather has caused the cancellation of all of the Crimson Tide's weekend games. UA was slated to play Houston, Michigan and UMass to close out Leadoff Classic play. UA already had to cancel its Friday night contest against Virginia Tech as thunder storms pounded the Columbus area. Alabama will look to make up games during the midweek schedule later in the season. Additional games will be announced on www.rolltide.com.
