Eastern Kentucky Comes from Behind for Bama Bash! Victory
The Eastern Kentucky Colonels came from behind twice and scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to claim a 3-2 win over the Albany Great Danes in the opening game of the 2004 Bama Bash!
Suzie Schaefer and Amy Mayrhofer led EKU offensively collecting two hits apiece while Kelsey Anderson went the distance allowing six hits and striking out eight batters en route to her first victory of the season.
Lipscomb Posts Come from Behind Victory over Albany in Bama Bash!
The Lipscomb Lady Bison scored a run each in the fifth and sixth innings to come from 2-1 down and collect a 3-2 win over the Albany Great Danes in Bama Bash! action.
Betsy White was 2-3 on the day with a run scored while Sara Meek held the Great Danes at bay all day long allowing two runs, neither earned, on eight hits while striking out four batters.
