TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Western Kentucky Lady Toppers beat the USC Upstate Spartans 3-0, earning the right to play Alabama on Sunday for the 2013 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional title in Rhoads Stadium.

The game started with three scoreless innings before Western Kentucky put one across in the top of the fourth inning and two more in the top of the fifth. Senior Mallorie Sulaski picked up the win for the Lady Toppers, pushing her record to 13-8 on the season, while Anna Miller took the loss for Upstate, finishing her season at 6-2.

Championship Sunday at the 2013 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional gets underway at 1 p.m. in Rhoads Stadium on the University of Alabama campus. Western Kentucky will be the home team while the Tide will be the visitors. If a seventh game is necessary, it is slated to get underway at 3:30 p.m.
