HEAD COACH TYRA PERRY
"It's always difficult to beat a team twice, especially a well-coached team with strong pitching and hitting and great fielding team like USC Upstate. I'm really proud of the way [starting pitcher] Mallorie Sulaski and the way she came out on the mound and took command of her pitches and play her game. At this point in the tournament it's survive and advance, so I'm excited that we were able to do that today."

On scoring the run from third:
"We always practice it. Speed creates drama and that creates errors. We always practice that when the ball is off the bat with a ground ball."
On the chance to play for a regional championship tomorrow:
"I feel like it's revenge because we should have taken the first game from Alabama. It's a great opportunity and I'm glad to be here and so is my team."
#12 MALLORIE SULASKI, P
On her performance today on the mound:
"I think I did well. I struggled a little bit at first, but then found my groove and just started throwing my pitches and make sure I was snapping the ball and doing my job."
HEAD COACH CHRIS HAWKINS
"I feel like we came out and hit the ball like we have the whole year in the first game. We had good defense behind Anna [Miller] - she pitched the perfect game. A lot of people have asked about Anna Miller. She was the junior college pitcher of the year in California and came to us early. She had a couple of problems with throwing more balls than strikes. She has come on strong and is a force to be reckoned with. I couldn't be more proud for her. The second game - we made three errors in a game - I don't know what to say. It is a disappointment. There is nothing we can do to rebound from it. I know we didn't hit the ball well enough to win but with no earned runs we should still at least be playing. We had a great year - 42-12. The girls got a taste of what this atmosphere is like and I know that it will fuel them over the summer."
#7 ANNA MILLER, P
On her perfect game vs. Jacksonville State in Upstate's first game:
"I could not have done it without some incredible plays by every single girl out there. Maddison Keiffer starts off the game with a diving catch and that could have ended it right there. So I have to thank my defense and all of their hard work."
