GAME FOUR

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The USC Upstate Spartans beat the Jacksonville State Gamecock 8-0 in the first elimination game at the 2013 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional in Rhoads Stadium. Upstate returns to action immediately, facing the Western Kentucky Lady Toppers for the right to advance to Sunday's championship game against Alabama.

The game remained scoreless through the first three innings before the Spartans exploded for five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and another three in the bottom of the fifth to invoke the run rule.

Junior Anna Miller picked up the win for Upstate, pushing her record to 6-1 on the season, while junior Tiffany Harbin took the loss for the Gamecocks, finishing her season at 17-15.
