Easton Alabama Invite: Was named to her second straight all-tournament team after hitting .500 (3-for-6) with a home run, four RBI and two innings of one-hit relief ... hit a home run, drove in four and scored twice in the win against Maryland ... also struck out three in two innings of relief against the Terrapins (3.2). Mississippi: Went 3-for-6 (.500) at the plate against Mississippi with two home runs and five RBI ... hit a home run and drove in four in the second game of the series ... also earned her first win since 2010 in that contest (3.17) ... hit a solo shot in the series finale (3.18). Auburn: Hit her eighth home run of the season when she belted a solo shot in game one of the doubleheader. LSU: Drilled a solo home run over the scoreboard in the loss against LSU (4.7). South Carolina: Hit her first career grand slam in the win in the series finale against the Gamecocks (4.15). Georgia: Was named the SEC Player of the Week for her effort over the weekend against No. 13 Georgia ... batted .545 (6-for-11) with three runs, a double, triple and two home runs while driving in six ... nearly batted for the cycle, needing just a single in the win against the Bulldogs on Saturday (4.20). Troy: Hit a pair of home runs, driving in three in the win over the Trojans. Arkansas: Tallied two home runs and four RBI while batting .333 in the series ... drove in three runs in the series opener and batted 2-for-4 in the finale. SEC Tournament: Allowed just three hits and an unearned run in the tournament championship game against Florida ... struck out four in the five inning effort in her first career postseason start. NCAA Regional: Allowed one run on three hits and struck out a season high seven batters in the regional opening win over UT Martin. Women's College World Series: Named to the WCWS All-Tournament team after batting .333 with a home run and five RBI...hit an RBI single in game three of championship series, helping propel Alabama to the national title...collected her first two hits of the postseason against Arizona State, including game-winning solo home run.

HIGH SCHOOL Locke led her team to District, Region II Area Championships and a berth in the state playoffs three times in her prep career ... 2007 EA Sports Softball All-American and second-team All-State honoree by the TGCA and the Texas Sports Writers Association ... named District MVP and Most Valuable Player at North Mesquite in 2007 ... earned All-Dallas-Fort Worth First-Team honors as a junior and senior ... Class 5A District 12 MVP and was her team's MVP in 2006 ... was her team's MVP and a Class 5A District 12 first-team selection as a freshman ... also competed on the Texas Glory club team that won a Texas state title and competed in nationals, finishing 13th in 2007.
PERSONAL Amanda competed in volleyball and track at North Mesquite ... is the daughter of Gary and Cathy Locke ... has two brothers, Trey and Travis ... was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was on the Senior Council at North Mesquite High School.
