2013 Season Highlight

2013 (FRESHMAN): Played in 45 games with 10 starts ... hit .241 with 17 runs, a double and a triple ... drove in two runs and swiped six bases in eight attempts ... fielded 1.000, primarily at second base ... batted 3-for-3 with a run against North Dakota State (Feb. 10) ... went 2-for-3 with a double against Jacksonville State (April 2) ... ripped a pinch-hit triple against Southern Miss (April 16).

HIGH SCHOOL: Came to Alabama from Buford High School ... broke eight school records, including hits, runs scored and stolen bases ... ranked as the No. 28 recruit in the country by ESPN RISE ... named the 2011 Gwinnett Daily Post player of the year, the Georgia Dugout Club player of the year and the Gainesville Times player of the year ... named first team all-state, all-region and all-county in 2008-11 ... starting second baseman on the 18 gold ASA national championship team in 2010 ... recipient of the EC Bullets Lamont Davis Award in 2010 ... helped Buford set a state record for winning five consecutive state championships ... also participated on the Buford basketball team, which was the 2008 AA state champion, and ran track, where she set the school record in the triple jump.

PERSONAL: Comes from an athletic family, as her father Scott Case played 12 seasons in the National Football League (1984-95; Pro Bowl defensive back with '88 Atlanta Falcons) and her mother Connie played softball at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College ... her sister Kelsey played softball at Valdosta State while her brother Kody played football at Valdosta State ... member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team ... majoring in elementary education.
