The softball team's 15 honorees led the way for the Tide, followed by the 12 members of the rowing team and the 12 members of the women's track and field team. The Alabama baseball team placed 11 members on the honor roll; women's golf, men's tennis and men's track and field each landed six student-athletes on the honor roll, followed by the four members of the women's tennis team
2013 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 25 games and made 17 starts ... batted .118 with five runs and four RBI ... fielded .985 behind the plate ... batted 1-for-3 with two RBI against St. John's (March 2) at the Easton Classic ... scored a run and drove in one at South Carolina (March 17).
2012 (FRESHMAN): Started two games at catcher ... hit .538 with two home runs and five RBI ... slugged 1.077 in her first season in Tuscaloosa ... did not commit an error ... smacked a double for her first hit and run scored in the win against Maryland (March 3) ... took full advantage of her first start, batting 3-for-3 with two runs, three RBI and her first home run in win against Longwood (March 24) ... hit a pinch-hit solo home run against Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lutheran High School in Indianapolis ... garnered 2010 first team all-state, all-county and all-conference honors and was named to the Indianapolis Super Team ... named 2009 team MVP and all-county ... helped lead Lutheran to state runner-up finishes in 2009 and 2010 ... Gatorade Player of the Year nominee and tabbed the ESPN Rise Player of the Week ... led the state in 2010 with 15 home runs ... played travel ball for the Indy Dreams ... helped lead team to ASA Gold Nationals three straight seasons, including 2009 eastern regional qualifier championship ... also lettered in basketball and volleyball and was a member of the school choir.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Craig and Denise Bell and has three sisters, Chelsea, Chanda and Kaitlin ... Chelsea played infield at Marian University in Indianapolis and Chanda was a record-setting pitcher for the Kentucky Wildcats (2009-12) ... majoring in psychology with a minor in human development.
