The 30 summer graduates will join the 104 Tide student-athletes who graduated following with the fall and spring semesters, pushing the athletics department's graduation tally at 134 for the 2012-13 academic year
The softball team's 15 honorees led the way for the Tide, followed by the 12 members of the rowing team and the 12 members of the women's track and field team. The Alabama baseball team placed 11 members on the honor roll; women's golf, men's tennis and men's track and field each landed six student-athletes on the honor roll, followed by the four members of the women's tennis team
2013 (SENIOR) Played in 34 games and started in 10 contests ... batted .125 with a double and a RBI ... sported a .447 on base percentage on the strength of 13 walks ... fielded a perfect 1.000 ... recorded a pinch-hit single and scored a run against Western Illinois (Feb. 22) ... tallied a pinch-hit single against Kentucky (May 4) ... in her last at bat at Rhoads Stadium she hit a RBI double off the wall in left-center against Western Kentucky (May 19).
2012 (JUNIOR) Garnered Capital One Academic All-America second team honors ... played in 34 games, with 19 starts ... batted .250 with two home runs and 11 RBI ... hit .556 (5-for-9) at the Mardi Gras Invitational with four RBI and scored four runs ... scored three runs and drove in three against Lipscomb ... added two hits and a run against host South Alabama ... named to the Easton Alabama Challenge all-tournament team, after batting .400 (2-for-5) with a home run and four RBI ... hit her first home run of the season in win over Longwood (March 24) ... came off the bench and hit a key solo home run against No. 13 Georgia (April 20).
2011 (SOPHOMORE) Named a Capital One Academic All-District 4 honoree ... garnered Academic All-SEC honors and was named an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete ... played in 34 games and started 22 in the middle of the infield ... batted .240 with one home run and seven RBI ... scored 15 runs, smacked three doubles and stole two bases ... sported a .441 on-base percentage ... went 2-for-3 with a double and run scored against Florida State in final game of the Easton Challenge (March 13) ... hit a two-run home run at South Carolina (April 2) ... batted 2-for-3 with three runs scored at Mississippi State (April 16) ... played in 14 games and started 11 during SEC play ... batted .185 with a home run, two RBI, eight runs and eight hits.
2010 (FRESHMAN) Played in 49 games while starting three ... used primarily as a late-inning defensive replacement ... her first career hit was a two-run double against South Carolina on March 20 ... hit her first home run the very next day, a three-run shot against South Carolina (March 21) ... appeared in every NCAA Tournament game as a defensive substitution.
HIGH SCHOOL Came to Tuscaloosa from Troy, Mo., where she prepped at Troy Buchanan High School ... played for coach Lance Richardson at TBHS ... earned first team all-conference, first team all-district and first team all-region accolades in her first three seasons ... all-metro selection as a sophomore and junior and first team all-state selection as a junior ... missed her senior season due to injury ... played club softball for the St. Louis Chaos and head coach Bob Furrer ... helped lead the Chaos to an ASA 16u runner-up finish at the 2008 Nationals ... member of 2005 USFA national champions, 2004 runners-up and 2002 AFA national champions.
PERSONAL Has played with Alabama teammate Courtney Conley since nine years old ... daughter of Charley and Kim Branham ... has two brothers, Nathan and Neil.
