TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Former Alabama soccer great Justine Bernier will add another chapter to her well-traveled soccer story as she signed a one year deal to play with Klepp IL of the Toppserien. The Toppserien is the top level women's league in Norway.

Bernier spent last season with the Vancouver Whitecaps of the USL W-League and has been a part of the Canadian national team since she was 17, including a few stints with the senior squad. She was part of Team Canada at the London Olympics this past summer.

The 5-10 keeper broke the career saves and shutout records at Alabama and ranks second in wins all-time at the Capstone. Bernier earned All-SEC honors every season for the Tide and was an all-region selection as a junior.

The Klepp's new number one may get her first action for her new squad when they play a friendly match against Sandviken on January 25th in Randaberg Arena.
