TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Midfielder Laura Lee Smith scored four goals to lead the Alabama soccer team a 7-1 win against the University of Alabama-Huntsville Sunday at the Alabama Sports Complex.

The victory marked the Tide's final home game of the 2014 spring slate, finishing with a perfect 4-0 record in contests played on its home pitch. Alabama won the four games by a combined total of 14-1, which included victories over Montevallo (5-0), West Alabama (1-0) and the Ghana Under-17 National Team (1-0).

"We just talked about how important it is in games like this that we come out and get a fast start and set the tone in the first half," Alabama head coach Todd Bramble said. "That was our objective and we did a pretty good job of that."

Theresa Diederich, Pia Rijsdijk and Dani Herubin also got on their names on the score sheet en route to the victory over UAH.

Alabama's final two games of the spring campaign will be away from Tuscaloosa, which include contests at Clemson on April 5 and at Mississippi State on April 10.
