Gymnastics ?Drive 4 the Cause? Campaign Featured in Time

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ?? Alabama Gymnastics was featured in the July 31 issue of Time magazine as part of Toyota’s ad campaign that recognizes dealerships making an impact in the community.

 

“To be in Time magazine was certainly cool,” Alabama head coach Sarah Patterson said. “But most important, it is yet another way to get the word out about our fight against breast cancer.”

 

Under the leadership of David DeSantis, Tuscaloosa Toyota has partnered with head coach Sarah Patterson and the Alabama Gymnastics program and the DCH Foundation to raise money and awareness in the fight against breast cancer.

 

Together Alabama Gymnastics, Tuscaloosa Toyota and the DCH Foundation have raised over $100,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund of the DCH Foundation.

 

For all three organizations, the drive continues under the “Drive 4 the Cause” banner. In addition to the Crimson Tide’s third annual “Power of Pink” meet this Spring, The “Drive 4 the Cause” will benefit from the 2006 Tuscaloosa Toyota/DCH Foundation Golf Classic October 26-27 and “A Nite on the Green” October 26 at the Bryant Conference Center.
