TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama Gymnastics is the No. 11 ranked team in the nation this week and will face off against No. 5 Auburn Friday in Coleman Coliseum for the fifth annual "Power of Pink" meet starting at 7:30 p.m.

Georgia leapfrogged Utah into the No. 1 spot this week. Stanford and UCLA also flip flopped with the Cardinal moving up to third over the Bruins. Auburn stayed at fifth while LSU leapt from 10th to No. 6 and is followed by Florida, Oregon State, Arkansas and Oklahoma. With the Crimson Tide at No. 11, Nebraska rounds out the top dozen.

The Tide is ranked third on the balance beam, eighth on the uneven bars, 10th on the vault and 14th on the floor exercise.

Individually, junior Ricki Lebegern is ranked 14th in the all-around and eighth on the balance beam. Junior Morgan Dennis is eighth on the vault. Freshman Ashley Priess is 11th on the balance beam and 18th on the uneven bars. Junior Kassi Price is 17th on the uneven bars while freshman Geralen Stack-Eaton is 23rd on the balance beam.

Alabama and Auburn will both put aside their team colors Friday to wear shades of pink in an ongoing effort to raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Free tickets to the event are available now at Tuscaloosa Toyota on Skyland Boulevard.
