TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The two-time defending NCAA Champion Alabama gymnastics team hosted the annual Medalist Club Tide Tykes and Teens Jamboree Sunday afternoon.
"This was an opportunity to give back in some small way to our youngest fans," UA head coach Sarah Patterson. "We have the best fans in the world and our ladies really enjoy getting to meet them in this way."
The gymnasts and coaches joined members of the Tide Tykes and Teens in the Frances Smith Practice Facility at Coleman Coliseum, playing games, visiting and enjoying a snack. The Tide Tykes and Teens is part of The Medalist Club, Alabama's booster organization and is dedicated to Alabama Gymnastics fans ages three-years-old through eighth graders.
Alabama fans young and old will have a chance to see the Crimson Tide in action Friday, Feb. 15 when they takes on Auburn starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262), located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum, or online at RollTide.com.
Members of the Tide Tykes and Teens will also be part of the Crimson Tide's march out festivities during the Auburn meet.
