JONES ON CAREER CATCHES LIST: Junior wide receiver Julio Jones caught 10 passes for 89 yards in the first half. That productivity moved Jones’ career receptions total to 151, ranking him third in Alabama history behind record holder DJ Hall (194 from 2004-07) and Freddie Milons (152 from 1998-2001).

INTERCEPTION ENDS McELROY’S ERRORLESS STREAK: Senior quarterback Greg McElroy’s third pass attempt of the game was intercepted by LSU at the Alabama 35-yard line with 11:25 remaining in the first quarter. That pass ended a streak of passes thrown without an interception at 124.  That total ranks sixth in Alabama history. McElroy owns three of the six longest streaks in Alabama history. He also had a 149-pass streak in 2009-10 that ranks third and a 141-pass streak this season that ranks fourth.
