TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama women's golf team will have three former standouts with exempt status on the LPGA Tour during the 2014 season and a fourth Jenny Suh, who has a partial exemption.

The trio includes newcomer Jennifer Kirby, Brooke Pancake and Kathleen Ekey. Pancake and Ekey were on tour in 2013.

Kirby, who finished her eligibility with the Crimson Tide this past May, finished fifth in the five-round (90 holes) Q-School to earn her card. The native of Paris, Ontario, shot 71-69-69-71-69 for a 12-under-par total.

Pancake retained her tour card by placing inside the top 100 on the LPGA money list (98th, $63,647). Ekey missed the top 100 by a single spot, but after finishing tied for seventh at LPGA Qualifying School, will be fully exempt once again in 2014.

Suh, who finished her eligibility at Alabama following the 2007 season and played on the 2006 Curtis Cup Team, lost in a playoff for the final exempt spots after finishing at 6-under 354. She was one of four golfers who competed for the two final positions. Suh will have status on the LPGA Tour in 2014 on the Category 17 priority list.
