TULSA, Okla. - The University of Alabama women's golf team opens play at the 2014 NCAA Championships on Tuesday at the par-70, 6,194-yard Tulsa Country Club.

It is the ninth straight appearance in the NCAA Championships for head coach Mic Potter in his nine years in Tuscaloosa. Alabama has registered four straight top-10 finishes, and captured the program's first NCAA Championship in 2012 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.

The Crimson Tide is coming off of a second-place finish at the NCAA Central Regional and will play the first two rounds of NCAAs with South Carolina and Washington, who finished second at the NCAA East and West Regionals, respectively. Alabama's group is slated for a 12:55 p.m. (CDT) tee time off No. 1 on Tuesday, May 22, and will then go off No. 10 in round two on Wednesday, May 21, at 8:25 a.m. (CDT).

The Crimson Tide's lineup is the same as the NCAA Central Regional and marks just the second time this season Coach Mic Potter has started this combination. Senior Stephanie Meadow leads the Alabama contingent in the final tournament of her storied career, along with sophomore Emma Talley, sophomore Janie Jackson, redshirt freshman Cammie Gray and true freshman Mia Landegren.

The Crimson Tide played in the 2013 Dale McNamara Fall Preview at the Tulsa Country Club, finishing tied for fourth at 16-over 856. Southern California won the Fall Preview with an 8-over 848. Meadow led the way for Alabama with a runner-up finish at 4-under 206 that included a final-round 66.
